Details regarding SLI connection for 2 9600gt graphic cards

Post by tiger13ind »

Hi folks,

I just joined this forum. I needed your help in figuring out a issue. I just brought a system with this configuration:

Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ dual core processor
2 xfx geforce 9600 GT graphic cards
2 GB DDR3 RAM

I will be using this workstation for working on 3D applications and of course, for playing games. This is the first time I am trying to configure 2 graphic cards to work on a single motherboard. 'Bridge' has been connected to these 2 graphic cards after they have been fitted on the motherboard. But I suppose there are other configurations to be done for making it work together. Can you please give me the steps on how to make a SLI connection between these 2 graphic cards? Is any other component required for making the connection or just changing the SLI settings will do? Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

first off, welcome to the LR forums!
but, if this is your board: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?model ... 3=591&l4=0

note that it supports dual ATI cards in CrossFire X, not nVidia cards in SLI mode.
did you build this system yourself or buy it from a retailer?
