We also know that it will be displayed at Computex and is supposed to cost US$549 when it comes out. This will be interesting as nVidia's chips will be built using the 0.11-micron process at TSMC as opposed to ATI’s R520 chip, which will be manufactured using a 90nm process.

Just heard from the rumor mill that the G70 also will have a GTX edition that comes out. Right now it sounds like the G70 will be launched followed by the GTX and then the Ultra Edition.

Also the G70 will have an AGP edition, which will use the HSI bridge chip.

Our specs from last month were a bit off, but darn close. The Inq. has seen the documents shown at Nvidia's press briefing in San Fransicso and isn't under NDA, so they spilled the beans.
As for the specs, the Geforce 7800 GFX will be clocked at 430MHz core with 1400MHz memory. It will be equipped with 256MB of 256 bit memory, at least the version we are telling you about will be. It will also feature two DVI's, VIVO and HDTV support.

We are talking about a 24-pipeline card capable of supporting Nvidia intelisample marchitecture 4.0, CineFX 4.0, Ultra shadow marchitecture version two, pure video and 64-bit texture filtering and blending.

We don’t have any idea why you need 64-bit texture filtering nor blending but we guess developers do.
We were close back in early May stating it would be 430MHz core and 1200MHz memory... It is really 1400MHz DDR3 memory on board.

The Inq also stated that the card will be out in less than two weeks.
