gt 206 and gt 212

Post by aircommando13 »

You can't expect Nvidia to sit quietly when AMD's 4870X2 is taking the glory for being the current fastest graphics card. if you've seen the timeline that was up on the internet a couple weeks ago about these two new chips you know what I'm talking about.

So what do hope to see from these new cards? We know they will be 55nm and 45nm, but will it still be 896MB and 1GB? How about 2GB? Will we see GDDR4 or GRDDR5 memory ? DX10.1? DX11? Built in sound card? Share your hopes for these upcoming beasts.

So what do hope to see from these new cards? I would like to see the power requirments come down along with lower heat and noise. Not to mention faster, much faster. I have a XFXgtx280 card now and would like to have it cooler and quieter.

So, those really are the new atislayers? I heard from the inq that nVidia are doing some sneaky renaming stuff to some older cards. Kinda freakish naming scheme they got there...
