Have any of you guys seen/ heard about this videocard? Ive read about it on http://www.nvidia.com and it seems AMAZING. The thing is dual layered 512mb (1gb total) and like 600$. I'm not sure what to think about this thing... what do you guys think about it?

Yeah, they discussed it in the latest ExtremeTech podcast.

You don't even need a SLI mobo (which are usually a little bit more expensive) which is kinda nice.

It would definitely be future-proofing... if you can afford it, I'd go for it!

If he wants to upgrade to Vista in the future, then it wont be future-proofing, of course. I meant that 2 cards should supply enough graphics power for out-coming games for a while.

the 7950 GX2 gets beaten by the X190XTX at times.

600 dollars is very pricey too.
