Got it dl'ed, but not installed. Would like to know if there are any bugs and how it is running first. Any input?

Thanks

Holy crap this thing is slow.

Not to mention the file is huge (60MB).

Thing slows my computer to a crawl when I click the tray icon and takes three seconds just to load the menu.

Switching back to default mode doesn't seem to alleviate the problem.

I really hope they streamline this thing for future releases.

Kerii,
Thing slows my computer to a crawl when I click the tray icon and takes three seconds just to load the menu.
It does the same exact thing to my AMD AM2 5000+ system when I installed this driver... When I boot up the system i have a 5-10 second longer delay from when the desktop loads due to the driver. It is highly likely that NVIDIA will have another release 90 driver this coming week, so we will see if this driver fixes anything. Brian and I also found a number of bugs and dislikes in them and let them know about it some time ago so they might be included in the next beta driver.

That's good to hear.

I'm glad they at least finally fixed the Performance & Quality Settings so that they don't undo all your changes when you click Apply.

I like it myself, even gained a few more MHz on my 7900GT's OC along with a few more points in 3D Mark 05 and 06.

v91.31 are out now and they seem fine so far althought the nagging SLi popup is annoying but I disabled it. The new control panel is alright too but I liek the old control panel which you can switch to.

Will somebody please tell me how to disable the nagging SLi popup, it really bothers me but only does it with 91.31_forceware drivers ( which happen to be the best driver for Battlefield 2 that I have used.

I have 1 PNY AGP 6800 GS video card on a gigabyte ga-7n400 pro 2 motherboard.

To get rid of the ballon popup do this:

Open REGEDIT.

Goto "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Advanced".

Add the DWORD value 'EnableBalloonTips' and give it a value of '0'

Please note that this will stop all balloon tips from popping up.

Thanks for the tip as I hate pop-ups, but it did not fix my whole problem. I still hear the pop-up pop as windows starts up and even tho I unchecked "enable taskbar icon" it still pops up and sometimes even goes online to slizone to tell me about sli.
If anybody knows how to stop it I would really appreciate the information or I will have to use another driver as this really annoys me.

I thought it will disable it totally (including sounds...). Hmmm....if I'll think of something else that might help, I'll let you know... :)

To disable the pop-up open regedit.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/NVIDIA Corporation/NVTweak look for DWord NvCplEnableMultiGPUConfigurationPage and set it to 0. If it is not there then create it and it will set to 0 by default.
