GeForce2 MX/MX 400
Hi there,
An old graphics card i know, but does anybody know how I can get it to use a 1440 * 900 resolution ? i seem to have most but not that one.
Any help most welcome,

It allows you to create an .inf file to force gfx/monitor resolutions

It can't support that resolution see below for what resolutions it can handle

Try this for comparison. My girlfriends computer is using a geforce 2 gts and it wouldnt run the 1440 X 900 either, but i installed the driver 53.41 or whatever is really close to that number, which i had in the my docs folder and it runs the resolution now. I dont know if that card you have is similar but its worth a try.
Oh yeah the reason i needed that resolution was because i got her a samsung 4ms 19" widescreen for christmas.
Good Luck, i hope you can upgrade the driver and get the same results as i did.

hahaha used to have that card! the 32mb version no less. I used it for several months before upgrading to a Geforce 4 Ti4200...great card...great memories.
