ASUS 8800gt?

Post by vicaphit »

I wasn't really aware that ASUS made videocards.

That is a pretty good deal at today's prices, and it has a nice large fansinc on it...what do you guys think? Would this be worth it?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot, thought this was the 512MB version

ASUS cards tend to cost more than most others.

By the way... AMD sure is "stretching" for some publicity aren't they?

Nice avatar picture by the way.

They also come with that "glaciator" or whatever heatsink that I cannot seem to find any information on. I was looking at stock cards that come with a different heatsink by default and found gigabyte with a zalman and asus with their mystery metal.

Not always.

My friend got the Asus 512 version for about $260 here in Canada. I think that's pretty good.

It had that same cooler, it was sweet, and got to mess around with it too.
