quite sad, but at least now you have the option to upgrade or go back to what you know was tried and true!

after your mourning, which card are you looking at?
Cyberpower generic case
B450M PRO-VDH MAX
Ryzen 5 3600 w/PBO/OC
CM Hyper 212 EVO push/pull
Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 CL16
MSI RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3X 8G OC LHR
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB
6GB Seagate HDD
EVGA 650BQ 650W PSU
ASUS VE278 27" monitor, Dell E2216HV (vertical)
Logitech Z533 2.1 Speakers, G935 7.1 or G435 headset
MS LXM-00001 keyboard
Razer Deathadder Elite, XBOX One Lunar Shift controller

I've come a long way from my original Core2Duo E6750 build y'all! :supz:

Not a good idea ^_^

I'm pretty sure that a 7600GT beats the 6800Ultra. So get out of the 6 series already :P
(Plus they use a bit less power)

i agree- stay away from the 6800 - for a little more than the cost of two of those you could get a 7950

Yes this is quite true, a 7600GT will outperform or evenly tie a 6800Ultra. What about XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX Edition $110 Shipped after $20 MIR. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDe ... ode=321123? I don't think you will find that performance for much less, unless there is an even better MIR on ZZF or Newegg that I don't know about.

Edit: Sorry, I'm afraid it is not AGP though... AGP cards tend to cost much more for the same performance as ther equivalent PCIe cards. You can find some extremely cheap >$50 AM2 boards and processors though these days...
