The NVIDIA G92 GPU may have heat problems like rumors suggest, but the first picture of it shows a single slot cooler. Clock speeds are said to be somewhere around 600MHz on the core and 1800MHz memory.

Nice to finally see what G92 is about! Now the real question is, when?

Was supposed to be Q1 2008 around the time of CES 2008 in Las Vegas if the original rumors were true... Now it seems that it has been bumped up to head off a new card from ATI... Here are some more pictures I saw over at CustomPC in the UK... Interesting to note is only has a single SLI Bridge, which for an 8800 series card one might expect two.

Actually, that is supposed to the be the 8800GTS with 112 shaders or something. I will send you the link when I get home, because I am at work, and at work, they treat us like we are prisoners.

Nope, I am wrong I guess ocn shows that this is the GT i am guessing, but also mentions of a new GTS.

The new cooler is really sexy looking. I am looking forward to this card for sure!

It would be interesting to see how good the cooler will perform? ...and of course...how good the card will perform as well...

I know it about that time for another gpu upgrade cycle , but geez ... would be nice to get some more DirectX 10 use out of our current 8800's first .

I'm anxious to see the Complete stats of the card and performance compared to the current models. I'm also curious as to how it will stay cool under load with a single slot cooler. The design is cool.

anyone have an idea on the price drop on the 8800GTS?
