ForceWare 169.09 was released today on NVIDIA’s website and if you play Crysis you need this Driver.

This driver:

o Adds SLI support for Crysis
o Fixes a water reflection bug in Crysis
o Adds Control Panel anisotropic filtering support for Crysis

With this driver, SLI will deliver 40-50% speedup over a single GPU for Crysis. In addition, Crytek will release a patch in the next week or two that will improve SLI performance further.

Here are some reference performance numbers obtained using the built-in benchmark:

Setting: Single SLI Scaling
GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
1600x1200 High 24.05 34.76 45%
GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB
1920x1200 High 22.7 31.87 40%

These have been out for a while, they did help a bit, but not a ton

They have been out awhile? On friday they released 169.05 drivers to the press and on monday they built the 169.09 drivers... They haven't been out for more than 24 hours yet as they just went public November 13, 2007 in the afternoon... You must be thinking of different drivers.

do they improve performance for non SLi users at all?

Is this just for the demo, or will it also improve performance in the beta?

I believe its for Retail so itll probably offer the same improvements for the demo and most recent beta as well.
