GT XXX or GTS

Post by bobletman »

I have a XFX 8800 GTS. I am just wondering if and by how much better the XFX 8800 GT XXX is. Any links to benchmarks would be appreciated.

For my money I's go with the GT, great prformance for the money, but seeing as you already have a GTS, I'd just stick with that until the next gen cards come out...........

But with a small OC on the GT, you can get GTX scores in most benchmarks.

I would go for a GT as well. You can't go wrong with them.

Great performance for a low price.

You aren't talking about the GTS 320MB right cause the choice would be easy...
But i'd still go for the GT more then the GTS.

If you can find one, go with the 8800GT without a doubt.

As much as I hate to say it (I hate Best Buy and their Theif Squad), Best Buy is or was, about the only place I've seen lately with cards in stock and at MSRP (even if it took a sale price to bring them down to MSRP).

Same results here, I went to like 9 web vendors and the GT is a scarce commodity. When you do find it, it's better to call on availability or they'll back order you in a second.

I read that Dell has a few different versions of the 8800GT offered up for sale at $208 aftr rebates, that's one heck of a great price if they have them in stock.

I think they are out of them as well. All say "ships in 1-2 weeks".

Ya the Gts will be insanely expensive. The GT is a great card anyway.
