Geforce and Vista

Post by Oshe Rono »

Since I don't want to change the topic of my other thread. Should I keep vista on my new machine or switch it to Win XP 64 bit version? From what I read DX10 is GPU heavy and I won't be able to use it for a while. Is Vista that compatible anyway? I'd hate to have a new OS that doesn't work well, and I have like my stability.

I use Vista and it is A-OK for me. I'd go with Vista 64, especially if you have more than 2 Gigs of RAM.

If you aren't playing DX10 games switch to vista, you will get a great performance boost. At least I did. If you want the eye candy and have the computer to handle it, go with vista.
