Hey man... you'll have to find your way to Springfield next time we have a LAN party. Numbers have been down lately and it would be nice to get some fresh faces in the mix. I'll try to remember to PM you next time we have one.

What games you lanning? Been dropping all the cash on parts lately, last I got was Half Life 2 Orange Box, didn't know it until a minute ago I get Company of heroes with the 8800GT 512 Alpha Dog, BONUS! I didn't even realize it was Alpha Dog until after order, wanted to get the order in before stock dropped out. I'm gonna have minor heat issues until I get a thermalrite 120 ultra though, 6400 x2 black box must have a heat pump built in.

An not a fresh face DaIceMan, kinda old and fugly

Used to live up there, on Cherry Street offa Glenstone. Used to ditch the car, ride the bus out to Battlefield Mall (In pursuit of car less women), moved back to Joplin after the Ramada Inn across from North Town Mall sold out to John Q Hammons (due to a small 16 Mil embezzlement).

Gimme yell next party maybe I can wander by.

Joplin to Springfield is only an hour... and a little of that can be cut off by the back roads.

Several people from my local group have traveled to KC and StL for LAN parties. Now that many of our local guys live in KC and StL, it's fairly routine for them to drive here as well. Even have a couple of guys in Omaha, Nebraska that trek down when notice and scheduling allows.

I guess for a lot of folks that's not all that far............

I guess its just me and my fixed limited budget that keeps me at home, that and I hate giving my money away to the oil companies............

My better half, customers, and puter keep me home and out of trouble. Depending on the crowd and game it might be fun though. Hard to compete with younger faster reflexes when you only get a few hours a week to play. Last lan I did was at MSSU and it was Diablo.
