ordered 8800GT!

Post by KnightRid »

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XD1JJK

ordered that - but yesterday it was only $249.99.

Any ideas on wether that is a good card or not? Never had anything by PNY before as I usually stuck with XFX.

Amazon shipping SUX! my lord, it wont ship till the 15th adn then it will probably take a week to get here...argh. Maybe i should pay for the faster shipping options :(

free is free though :)

Mike

Hope I can run World in Conflict and such on this 22" monitor at full res and high settings :)

Will let you know in a year when this actually gets shipped to my door :?

I thought the 8800gt was a single slot card. I would have to dremel my case if I got a 2 slot.

The card is a standard reff card, shouldn't be any worse or better than all the other reff cards out there...................

Not here you wont - I will keep this card for at least a full year, hopefully longer. I wont buy new games for $50 anyway, I am cheap and wait for the mto come down in price :)

Sweet - at least I wont have a low end crappy name card then :) I can probably overclock it too, but i doubt taht will be needed for at least 6 months to a year for me, dunno.

I got it yesterday! Now I feel bad bitching about Amazon shipping

Sorry Amazon.com

Mike

HUGE friggin card!

It actually interferes with the memory slots on the DG33TL motherboard. Well it fits, but you can not change the memory or add memory without taking out the card because it is so close to the tabs that you can not push them down to get the memory out! BAD design by Intel!
