What the heck!

I updated to the newest nvid drivers, and now i cant play any game for more than five min before it crashes... and sometimes it doesnt crash but just freezes until something happens (ie get killed in cs or bomb blows up or new round) this happens in all the games that i played(oblivion crysis cs:s so its not just a one game problem) everything was working fine until i updated, then i got tired of this and deleted the drivers and reinstalled the 168.01 drivers (instead of the newer 168.28) , also i thought it could be because of the OC on my vid card, but the temps are fine 55C idle and 65-69C max load ( i have window open / case open /many fans and GPU fan @ 100%) i cant really figure out whats wrong..

and yeah i tried to run it with no OC but still the same thing happened, and it doesnt matter what settings i try to run it @ either, i tried running crysis on both low, high, and very high but they all crashed in a few min

it just crashed again after 8min of playing cs:s, then i checked temps and they were @ 61C

Did you uninstall the old driver before installing the new one? It can cause problems if you don't.

Try running Driver Cleaner (newer versions) in safe mode after you uninstalled the older drivers. Reboot comp and install the new drivers.

That was my next suggestion. Glad it works.
