MX-400

Well, my son just got an nVida eVGA e-GeForce 6200 Video Card 128-A8-N339-LX. It's 128MB DDR, AGP8x, 64bit ...

Not bad gift from a friend of his. Halo-2 looks superb with this card over the MX-400.

Well, he just gave me his MX-400 to replace the MX-200 7100 card in my machine. So, I'm moving up from 32Mb to 64Mb graphics. 8)

Sure, this isn't cutting edge graphics, but it's nice to upgrade without spending big bucks.

mx 200 is a geforce 2 card. aka 6 or 7 years old. i have one here, its from before gfx cards even needed passive heatsinks

With the MSI MOBO, I've OC'ed the PCI slightly to gain an edge playing Halo. However, I've had to add a CPU cooling fan to the heat-sink of the MX-200 to keep it cool running. Likewise, I've now done this to the MX-400 card.

Sure, these cards can run with passive cooling, but a fan really helps out on these cards.

Correction, "Great card and a great (European) company hehe"

I used to have a x800pro card from them. It had copper heatsinks in the RAM and a copper cooler. OC'ed like a motha f*ck*r :)

Hey, I never did say what cutting edge technology I'm at. Just as long as I'm not using a TI-99/4A with Logos graphics. :-$

You could probably do a whole lot better with 40 or 50 bucks. Though as long as you are happy with your card, stick with it until it dies!
