Station-Drivers have got their hands on some new WHQL certified Forceware drivers for owners of NVIDIA graphics cards .

The multi-language drivers are for Windows 2000 and WindowsXP and are dated the 30th March and completed WHQL testing on the 4th of April, so they are fairly recent (no 80xx series yet!)

The additional inf provided with the drivers will allow all NVIDIA drivers to use the set, although it may break WHQL certification on the NV40 series and will definatly provide certification for the additional video cards that were added

As usual Legit Reviews takes no responsibility for any drivers linked or posted, like every other site, we provide them for people to use at their own risk

Two things Capper failed to mention here!!!

1) The 76.44 drivers are 15MB in size and does include an setup.exe file. It also happens to be an WHQL approved driver (Microsoft tested and verified). The bad news is that it's only for GeForce series 6 video cards. You can't use it on anything else!

2) Forceware 76.50 Win2000/XP are also available! These drivers are not WHQL certified, but are a newer build even though they show an older date. (The 76.44 got re-dated when they were WHQL verified) The 76.50 drivers are only 13mb in size and support all recent cards. No setup.exe file in this one, but these are the lastest drivers.

Download 76.50 drivers here

Some recent nForce driver performance data:

Far Cry
75.90 = 70.22 fps
76.10 = 70.42 fps
76.41 = 70.22 fps
76.44 = 70.26 fps
76.50 = 70.25 fps

Doom3
75.90 = 56.6 fps
76.10 = 56.5 fps
76.41 = 56.5 fps
76.44 = 56.5 fps
76.50 = 56.5 fps

Doesn't look like a huge impact by any means, so unless you are seeing bugs in your driver no need to really change.

Since there's no setup.exe file, how would I go about using these drivers?
