Decent cheap card

My wife's uncle is not a gamer and would be just as happy with integrated graphics. The only intensive app he runs is SETI's distributing app along with Office and some photo editing.
He acquired an older emachines box for like $15 and it has a bad mobo. So he bought an ASUS board on ebay for $20 but it doesn't have graphics onboard. It does have a PCIE x16 slot so he wants a decent card as cheap as possible, it doesn't have to be spectacular. (Preferably <$30) I'd initially recommended a Sapphire X1650PRO but literally in the time I emailed him about it, the Egg deactivated it!
I recommended this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814500033 but am not terribly familiar with the 7300GT. It got mostly positive reviews. I didn't want to recommend a 64 bit card and this was as cheap as I could find for that slot.
Any opinions are appreciated.
