Just the picture alone it kind of looks like its the game doing that..only other time i've seen something like that was whole different hardware issue what that wasn't in the pc(that and i only see trails on the characters)..Have you seen that same effect in other games?

You could try getting and running ATITool.

Run the artifact scanning mode for about 15-30mins, and if you get little yellow bits showing up on the pink fluffy cube, you have a problem with your card/drivers.

Well the fact that it didn't throw up any problems means that the card itself is stable, so the problems must be coming from either a bad game programming, or drivers for your card.

Are there any patches for the games?

For Devil May Cry 4 no, For finalfantasy alot but thats a old ability w/eis wrong withit would of been patched years ago, i notcied one thing though the thing i was talking about in my game ffxi i think it was due to overheating cause i was playing with 2acc's known as "dual boxing" and i played them like usual noticed the wierd looking textures in ffxi, well when i turnt off the second acc i was playing on 20minutes later the animation looked fine again i believe it might be due to overheating or maybe the graphics card is not sending data fast enough or something? im nopt sure kinda new to all thisstuff^^ sorry for the incredibly long post and with ati tool can i test my cards temprature? ty again :)
