PhysX Performance

I am thinking about getting another GPU to run as a dedicated physX card. I am wondering if anyone knows if there will be noticable difference between say a $50 9400GT and something more expensive like a $100 9800GT? I was thinking about upgrading to a 200 series card and using my 8800gts as the physX card but if that will be overkill i might just sell the 8800 and get a cheap 9400. I also wont need to worry about getting a more powerful PSU to run both cards then either.

See my test...

Conclusion: I didn't think it was worth it. My room is already hotter than every other room in the house without a second card pumping out heat into my room. If you already have a decent enough video card I don't think it has too much trouble processing graphics and PhysX.

well that helps enough for now. but I am still wondering if all cards will work the same for processing physX - I saw the reveiw listied in your post. it would have been nice if they would have made one of those 280 cards a dedicated physX card insted of a 9600GSO just to see if there was a performance increase..
