DEFINITELY xfx.
if you get refurbished from newegg. you can get them as low as 130 and it still has a 1 year warranty with XFX. If you get EVGA re certified. It's 3 months. And the XFX is way faster.

Come on herc,

The 216 core is better, Look at the specs. Here are two examples
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... 6814130497

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814150330

The first one has the core clock and the memory at the default speeds and is more expensive. The second is factory overclocked on both so it will run a little faster. First one has only one free game, second has two. The only draw back about the second is the core clock, it's set to 666 :snakeman:. You can always get a default core clock and just over clock yourself. Both Evga and XFX are very good manufactures so it boils down to perks (Free Games), factory overclocks, free shipping and cost. Let me warn you on factory over clocks. Sometimes they don't always work and have to dial it down with a overclocking program like rivatuner.

You should but if you are buying one I would get something that is at least 80% energy efficient. That coolermaster has 2 12v rails at 18a which should be ok.

On the XFX you can find them MUCH cheaper is what I was saying and the cores are always mislabeled. The black edition is always 216 cores. The EVGA has much more ram, but is there any benches that show that it helps? I'm not saying that if price wasn't a factor don't get the EVGA, but the XFX clocks way high. I have mine at 780mhz. And purchased it at $125
