I am thinking of getting another 260 to run but the one I bought was from back in November so it is 65nm. It is a "core 216" though.
Just wondering if a 55nm and 65nm will work in SLI together. I assume yes since it is just a die shrink... but I don't know much about all that and how much changes with the chip during the process. Don't wanna go wasting time and money.

Re: SLI GTX 260 Question
As long as both cards are based on the same core then yes, they can run in SLI.
There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Chuck Norris allows to live.

Re: SLI GTX 260 Question
Yup, 55nm and 65nm will work together. The only reason some people dont like mixing them up is the different colour schemes (65nm is orange and black, where as 55nm is black with the red piston).

Alright, sweet. Thanks guys.
And, yeahhhh, I'm not that picky about that kind of stuff. Even if I or anyone does look in the case it'll jus be from an above view anyways
