Does anyone know nVidia's stance on using SLI on a motherboard that doesn't use an nVidia chipset? Is the only supported way to get SLI to have a motherboard with an nVidia chipset or can I use any motherboard?

at the moment they are not to keen on the idea, you have to use a hacked driver to get it running on anything other than a Nvidia chipset.

nVidia is aware of this hacked driver and I know of one website that was contacted by nVidia to take the hacked drivers off.

What??? I don't think so...at least not that I've heard of such a thing.
The only tweak/mod I know/heard of is the DFI Ultra-D which can me Hard-Modded to SLI-D using a silver pencil...
