Nvidia confirms 8800 GS, Ultra
The latest driver out from the guys in Santa Clara, dubbed ForceWare 158.19, contains a few little tidbits about products that should be forthcoming.
The release notes accompanying the driver list the supported products as:
"GeForce 8800 Ultra
GeForce 8800 GTX
GeForce 8800 GTS
GeForce 8800 GS
GeForce 8600 GTS
GeForce 8600 GT
GeForce 8500 GT
GeForce 8400 GS
GeForce 8300 GS"
It is interesting to see the 8400 GS and we all knew about the super high end GeForce 8800 Ultra thanks to all the leaks.

Yes that is the 8800 Ultra card.
I don't really think there will be an 8600GTS with 256bits.

I believe that they will be releasing the 8600GTS /GT with 256bit.
It seems logical, Nvidia released the 8600's quickly to get a mainstream card out to market, beating out ATI's mainstream cards. Realizing how much the public disagrees with the mediocre performance increase compared to the other x600 series cards (6600 GT -> 7600GT ->8600GT/ GTS). Now that they have a mainstream directX10 cards, they will expand it to make them cheaper and faster.
Nvidia was also critivised when the 7600GT was released with only a 128 bit bus, but it still performed nicely. It only makes sense that they upgrade to 256bit.
