Hey guys. I got this from another forum. It appears that on the XFX 8600GT boxes, if you look closely, you can see the words EVGA on the dog drool. WTF is wrong with XFX. Now I've lost respect for them, even though I never owned a card from them.

Looks like a photoshop job to me...any of the legit reviewers actual have the box and can confirm it?

Apop reviewed the XFX 8600GT and XFX 8600GTS. I think he might have it.

Yeah, I forgot about that...there's a pic of the box in the review but the res isn't high enough to check

The exact reason escapes me, however I would guess to poke fun at EVGA in a friendly manner, competitors perhaps but we like to joke around with each other.
