Hello,
Recently i was given Windows Vista ultimate runs fine on my pc setup, but im not so sure about my brothers. It says that he needs vertex shader 3.0 he has 2.0 and pixel shader 3.0 and he has 2.0, will it still work?? Its a 256mb 5700LE if that helps

He probably won't be able to run the full Aero Glass interface, he'll probably end up using Aero Basic. The OS will run (just like XP will run without Luna) but it won't look the same. Whether or not you or he cares is another question entirely.

Well it worked fine for me using a Radeon 9600 (somewhat the same) on RC1 and RC2 prerelease editions of Vista.
Aero will run fine as long as you install proper drivers and dont mess with codecs (as divx) that were not meant for vista.
You could always make a dual boot install and see for yourself! Besides vista doesnt require activation for a period of time, so your brother can test if it works fine for him. Note though that with a bit tweaked XP you can gain some of the vista look.

Were can i get some vista drivers for my netgear WG311t wireless card ive been to their site and it gives me driver files and i dont know where to put them.

I believe its very detailed, step by step...
Long story short, uninstall netgear software. Power off,unplug, power on, install the new software bundle, power off, plug back in and it should be set. (weird though that you have to unplug the card, anyway when i was updating my netgear wireless card i never unplugged it from the pcmcia slot but i suggest you do what netgear says).
