Re: Fujitsu FPCR34711 Laptop for $311 Shipped
I bought this and got it yesterday... Impressed for what it is at $311. I had an old OCZ Vertex 2 100GB SSD, so I tossed it in after cloning the drive. Pretty fast so far! Here are the windows stats:
When it comes to performance... The old Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz) powered laptop that I was using finished Cinebench R10 in 150 seconds. The new laptop uses the Intel Core i3-2350M (2.3 GHz) processor and finished the benchmark in 118 seconds. This is a 22% performance increase with a processor running 230MHz slower.

Nice! Probably faster than all but one of my desktops, lol. One of these days I will try to sell off all my stuff, save up, and treat myself to a laptop (never have owned one).
Update this later and let us know if and when you ever get that $100 rebate--I've gotten to where rebates are a hassle and so many don't end up getting them for various reasons that I don't consider many so called "good" sales if the price is a result of a big rebate.

I have come to the conclusion that "FaceBook" should be renamed "FacePalm"
