Question About Building A Notebook
Question About Building A Notebook
How many options do you truly have when putting together a notebook/laptop? and how much does it save you or does it not save you any at all. I ask only because by the end of this semester I plan on getting a decent not very top of hte line laptop that will play all the games I want tit ot play on medium, but will get great battery life (or decent at least). My friend has a p4 2gbs of ram basically desktop laptop, but I don' think it last taht long. what are options for cases (chasis, screens with them, and mobos). I am still learning about the building of laptops I can handle the desktop case alright :p.

a lot of pics for when i built mine.
I know prices are cheap!! But as far as building a laptop, it will be more money wise simply because it is a laptop, but yes it will be cheaper to build rather than buy one!!!

If you are looking on building a gaming notebook or a desktop replacement ($1500-$4000) then you are better off building your own.
For the sub $700 sufing the internet ones you are best off going to BB, Frys, Dell, or Circuit City and buying one off the shelf. I just bought a 15.4" widescreen with an Intel Celeron 380, 512mb memory, and an 80GB HDD for $550 locally. I can't build one for that.
