I have a Gateway desktop (1-1-07) with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6700.
I now want to get a notebook with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. I notice that for the notebooks these processors are identified with a T. T7200 - T 7600.
Could someone tell me what (notebook) T Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is comparable to my E6700.
Also is there a web link to this effect.
Thanks for your consideration and assistance!!!

The closest laptop one is the T7800 that is also one of the most expensive.
Laptops have to consume less power than desktops, so can't use quite so fast parts (or they can but then have no battery life whatsoever).
So you might have to accept that whatever laptop you get will be slower than your desktop rig? (unless money is no issue)

Re: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
Do you have a laptop with a desktop core?? I know that Dell did/do some laptops that have a desktop core inside them. And in that case it wont really matter what Core 2 Duo you end up getting?
