Was he trying to push it hard, or do you think something on the board is slowly killing the video card?

2 Cards in as many weeks is just bad luck. Any chance the ebay seller will give you a refund?

Overheated damaged Dell XPS M1710 GeForceGo 7950GTX graphics card. Heat damaged memory. 3 cards down now. Don't think it's worth replacing it again. Dell should do a product recall.
