I'm trying to find a decent messenger bag for a netbook. I currently have a rather large and bulky "executive" style bag from Wenger. It's very nice and durrable but it's bulky, heavy, and well, to "yuppie" for me. I'm a pretty down to earth guy. I wear cargo pants and hiking shoes pretty much every day. I drive a Jeep. I'm not exactly the "executive" type.

What I'm tryin find is something similar to my rappidly aging messenger bag my friend got for me at a trade show about 10 years ago. Something that can hold a few pens and penciles, a couple thumb drives, my future netbook (10" screen sized), a notebook and some documents. Something kinda low key. I've been looking at the vintage style canvas army bags but I can't seem to find anything that would securely store the netbook while I'm on the go.

Any ideas?


And please, no "man bags".

I doubt there is anything out there designed for netbooks, maybe find the best messengers bag you can find out there and get a sleeve that is padded and fits the netbook

I've found a few on Amazon but they all seemed geared towards being "stylish".
