The best format for HD video playback with Infuse 4G ?

Post by Bobtang »

Just got AT&T’s latest Samsung Infuse 4G. I want to put some videos onto Infuse 4G but have no idea what kind of video it plays. Does it play HD? My friend has a Captivate which plays 720p without problem, so I assume the Infuse 4G also plays 720p? And what is the best format for video playback with Infuse 4G?

I think Samsung Infuse 4G plays 1280*720p mp4 movie is perfect. My android phone got the files from Blu-ray discs playback well.

Interesting... 4 posts all by a person with 1 post. Anyway I don't know if you're here to sell something but XMedia Recode does all this for FREE.

Thanks. It is really a useful and timely guide for me. Tried the Samsung Infuse 4G Converter ( http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-video-co ... -ultimate/ ) and it turned out to work well. I also converts some DVD movies to the smartphone too. Good app! But… why is there a watermark on the screen ?

Looks like troy and nicole are the same person.... Does anyone with better moderating skills or the admins wanna chime in? If not, I'll be taking some action (and hope it's the correct one).

@OP. You're better off posting on Android forums.... Also see what apps you can find in the Market. Do know that video players on the Market cannot play HD as they do not have hardware acceleration.
