optical drive compatibility

im getting the asus z71v laptop. i already ordered the ASUS DVD+/-RW DRIVE - PLUG-IN MODULE - 8X/8X - 5.25 INCH. NOW IM TERIFFIED. will this work ? i just saw its 5.25 inch Help please !
