Ok, I've bought the parts for the laptop, and they're on their way. I have coming...

chassis - MSI MS-1029
processor - AMD Turion 64 MT-37 (2ghz)
hard drive - Samsung 60gb (5400rpm)
memory - 512mb generic
wireless - MSI MP54G4 card

And all of that for about $1150.

I'll try and post some piccies when I get them in and when I'm building.

looks nice. you could consider upgrade the mem to 1gig or more.

Um, it's already been built for two months.

And my sister only has 300 something meg's of ram in her big computer, and that's still fast enough for her.
