Windows Xp Boot CD For Notebooks

hi ppl i need a cd i can boot windows from. if somebody can give me instructions on how to make it or send me an image of one so i can burn it at home to recover lost files from my Toshiba Satellite L25 Laptop. i really need my files or i would have already reinsatalled windows but i need by files so plz help. thanks

The easiest way that I know of to recover files from a laptop is to get a laptop to desktop hard drive converter then plug your hard drive into your desktop and then copy the files to your desktop PC.

yea but the thing is i dont have a cable and i cant get one cuz my family is out of town for a long time
