Im looking into getting a pda/phone/trio type thing. I need phone(obviously) , email, calander, contacts, internet. I would like to be able to do some excel stuff, maybe work with some powerpoint. I was thinking about the blackberry, but heard it isnt very good for 3rd party software. What you guys think? what you guys have/used/like/dont like. Im hoping to swing the company to buy it or maybe go half or something (maybe even just pay the monthly bill - that would be nice). The email, contact, calender and excel stuff would be for work mostly. I also would like something that i could add memory to so that i can put music on it ( I use my current pda to listen to music.) I looked at the Nokia E62, it looks cool. seems to have some nice features.

Thanks for the thoughts

Ive been looking at the HTC 8525 (if im gonna go, i might as well go big :) ). My main hang up is whether or not i can use it to get work files. since the main point is to do work stuff when i am not actually in the office. I have gotomypc set up now to access all my work files when i am gone. Does anyone know if it works on smart phones with windows mobile or anything else?

i have used the treo 650 when i worked for Nextel. It was nice and sure handy to have to be able to look somethin up on the net when you are out.

Last year i used it to do quick price comparisons when i was out at black friday.
