Hi

Post by Hapkido »

I am officially retired but still hire out as a IT Systems/Computer Advisor and maintain a small local office with 30 workstations. Since I have free time available to me I decided to build my own system, finally.... and now have an interest in possibly overclocking it for fun.

Welcome to the forums...

You heard about AMD's 4x4 system? Is that a desktop PC or a workstation? ;)

Thanks to both for the warm welcome. I'm not sure who you are addressing with your question, but assuming it is me, the answer is possibly. hehe I recently read about the ongoing CPU war going on between Intel and AMD re: quad core CPUs and that Intel has just released or is about to release its first one which is ahead of their announced schedule.

Re: Desktop PC or workstation.... Again, I'm going to assume you are asking about my custom-built system. It is a standalone desktop machine.

If the above questions were addressed to FZ1, or I have totally misunderstood your question(s), then as Rosanna anna danna used to say, "Never mind!"
