I ran into this site while looking for a folding team and stayed for some of the details on reviews.
Running an old 3 GHz p4 system I purchased from Intel during a promotion for retail salespersons.

I've enjoyed both Amd and Intel systems in the past, and only really had hardware disappointments with video drivers since way back in 99 with the old tnt2s on win2k. Lesson learned, wait several months and never buy the latest and greatest then try to run it on a new O/S. Although those were some of the more interesting days, when you had a little money and few responsibilities that gave you time to tweak about, trying to get things to work and learning in the process.
Unfortunately I have less time recently to spend on things that interest me like different operating systems, overclocking and modding. (Linux, 300 MHz/450 Celeron days, pc cooling) Now when I get time to sit down at a PC, I just want to goof off and help me escape the grind of reality

Looking forward to keeping up with everyone's contributions.
Peace
