Asus P4C800 Deluxe

Post by geo14618 »

I have Pentium 4 2.6ghz processer with 800mhz FSB. When I boot the Computer I get an Overclocking Failed.
It is not overclocked. It defaults to 266mhz memory and I have 400mhz memory installed. I tried this memory on an identical MB and it works fine.

Welcome :)

Sounds like the bios is not saving your settings.
Remove the battery for an hour or so and re-test. If that doesn't work, you'll need to replace it. That board is old and the battery would be suspect IMO
