Intro

Post by Gooze »

- How did you find the forums?
I attended a class at Blizzcon a few years back on building my own whitebook. I've been off and on ever since.

- What system are you running?
VERY old system. Building a new rig very soon.
Still running an
Athlon XP 2600+
1024MB RAM DDR333
Radeon X800 256MB
On-board sound

Keep in mind this was the first system I built. I've build many others for other people, but not for myself. Between college and living, I've had to save a LONG time to finally get close to enough money to build a new system.

- Are you an Intel or AMD Fan Boy/Girl?
I am definately an AMD/ATI fan. I could go into it, but I have to take off for work. :(

- What type of gaming are you into?
Both console and PC. If we're dealing with genre, I'm big on platformers and RPGs. FPSs on occasion. I'd play more FPS games but this old rig can't handle a lot of the new games. I've pushed it to its limit.

- Are you an overclocker?
Ohhhh yeah. Although now is pointless for me to OC this PC anymore since the performance increases are almost nil. I can't wait to build my new rig (I'll post specs up soon).

Glad you took the time out to introduce yourself properly, I have more faith that you will stick around after the contest that may or may not have lured you back into posting :P

Welcome.

Thanks everyone!

Like I said I've been off and on, but never really posted at all. Most of my questions/answers were in other threads already.
You'll probably see me around more often, since I've been meaning to introduce myself for quite a while. Glad to see so many
friendly responses :)
