The FNG
The FNG
Hello I am here because of Brian. I work with him and built me a computer and suggested I run the stanford "folding" program on it so I agreed. I checked out the program and think it's great way to use my computer when I am not PvP in World Of Warcraft.

Thanks for the welcome...now I just need him to fix my computer...I think it's WOW but want him to look at it to make sure I did not break it.

Wassup Craig man?! Glad you finally found your way to the site!!!!! We should get your video card running this program, it's much faster!
Re: The FNG
OK? I don't know what you are talking about but you know best.
Re: The FNG
His folding name is the same. I've just got him running a standard client on a 3.2GHz E2140. It's no monster for ppd but every little bit counts, and it doesn't hinder his gaming performance.
Re: The FNG
Damn right! His PPD might just push us over the top of another team some day, or better yet, it may fold the right protein to find the cure!Bwall wrote:It's no monster for ppd but every little bit counts

Re: The FNG
ya know i was wondering how much the GPU client actully effects gaming performance. I dont have the tools to test FPS- but I was folding on my brothers 8800gs 320mb and i played BF2142 a few times on it while folding and didnt notice any drop in performance. that was before his system crashed..Bwall wrote:His folding name is the same.
