A Long Ramble...

Well, my name is Shane, and in all honesty I didn't think I'd be joining a forum tonight. Usually if I join one, it's because I'm looking for it, but this time it was because I was trying to find a solution to a (luxury) computer program problem I was having, which I think I'm going to post for help after this one. Aside from that, another tidbit I think one should learn about me is that I tend to leave forums gradually without even knowing it. For example, the last forum I was registered to, I thought to myself "This place is so go great. I know that there's something about this place that won't make me quit this time." Then school came, I lost time for it, and the topics on the site declined into boring facts (it was over a game series; particularly Final Fantasy), so altogether I realized I had quit and haven't been on since about September (though I did try to revisit it this month). At this moment, I can tell I'm of out place and routine as I tend to begin writing on forum(s) in the Summer, but ya, now that we've crossed over that bridge...
-I'm 15, almost 16
-I'm male
-I found this forum through Google searching "computer automatically turn itself off"
-My system is an AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor BE-2400, I have 2.00 GB RAM, and a 32-bit Windows Vista Business OS
-I know this may sound noobish, but I don't know what the big deal is between Intel and AMD
-I'm mostly a console/handheld gamer (as well as competitive/perfectionist gamer); computer games cramp my arms and hands, so I don't play them (except for The Sims 2)
-Seeing as I had to look up what an overclocker is, I'm going to say "no, I am not one", but I suppose my brother is... lol
-Obviously, by now, you can see I am using the sample questions to help introduce myself... idk why, but I felt the need to state that. lol
