Hello everyone!
It's good to be here.
Basically, life has it's ups and downs, so I wouldn't bore you with those things.
On the activity side of things, I spend my time with family, ham radio, computers and bike riding.
I've known eva2000 and Bio-Hazard for a few years too.
Peace!
Stev

I don't think we have had the chance to meet, but I have seen the name around. I still use several of the Corsair/Delphi HydroCool units on a daily basis btw!
So do you work for Delphi now?
Welcome to the forums and glad to have you on board.

Hey there Stev, nice of you to drop by, hope you stick around.
Just so you all know, Stev is a thermal Guru, I've learned a bunch from him over the years, and he's always willing to share his knowledge if he can.

When I was in 5th grade, I'll never forget how excited my teacher, Mr. Binford, was to get a ham radio for the classroom. We went to this guy's house to learn about it, and we were interviewed by KSVS12, the local news station out of Cape Girardeau, MO. They used my interview on television

I must have been a cute kid or something. Anyway, I for the life of me can't remember exactly what a HAM radio is? I know you're supposed to have a license to use one, but how is it different from, say, a cb?

nice!! Yeah i have been a ham for almost 6 years now. I got my ticket in oregon then moved here to Texas!( all of them here give me grief for having a 7 call) I am working on my general right now, but college has slowed things down quite a bit. I do a lot of volunteer stuff around here as well, mainly storm chasing for the National Weather Service. I havent had a chance to work any of the big events like the walkathons because they are always held on weeks days either when i am working or in school.
But i think it is a shame what they did with the new lisencing. You only have to know 5wpm to get an extra ticket.

I can understand thier reason, but i fear that it bring ham radio down to something like CB, letting everyone and thier dog to get a license LOL Anyway its good to see another ham on here!! AGAIN WELCOME!!!
