Hi!

Post by dday »

Hello to all. I'm new here. I've read the forums for a couple of weeks now and have the feeling that there's a lot of knowledge and comraderie here.

My first "PC" was a Timex Sinclair and I've had everything since from a Vic 20 to my current machine, an Athlon XP running at 2.2ghz. I was my former employers "PC tech" when an internal harddrive was a big brick that held 5 or 10 MB and you were special if you had 4 MB of memory to allow yourself to run Symphony.....any of this stuff ringing a bell???

Glad to be on board. I read the forums at lunch, but have to logon at home to see the pictures. My current employer is a large financial institution that's afraid I might see something "bad" so security's pretty tight. My current work desktop is a Dell GX260 2.2ghz 1gb ram. Not bad.

My other hobbies are guns, building things and I'm about to be the proud owner of a HD Sportster..........

Enough for now.

Dave

Welcome to the forums! Glad to have you on board.

I'm not sure you are into handguns, but a buddy of mine brought over his latest gun and I can't figure out what it is... I believe it's a 9mm P226, but it's threaded and I can't find it on the sig site!

Update: I think it's the Sig P226R Limited Edition tactical pistol (only 400 made)

Be sure to post pics of the HD when it arrives!

How do you like that Kimber .45? I've never shot a Kimber before. I got to shoot a sig sauer X-Five the other day and fell in love with that gun.

Well, if I could ever get a picture link to stay visible long enough for you to see it, you'd see how pretty it is. It fits my hand perfect but it's a target , and I'm not real fond of the rear adjustable sight, since I like to carry my pistols concealed.

Sigs are great guns, just normally that's a Caddy gun when I have a Yugo budget/ :(
