Hi, everybody out there. I'm a PC gamer from Venezuela (first-person shooter) looking for help. I'd like to buy an IntelD975XBX mobo (I'm upgrading my PC) and I'm thinking about having a SLI configuration (e.g. two 7900 GT video cards). Is it possible with this motherboard? If so, that means I will have to buy a SLI bridge separately, right? Thanks in advance for any reply or recomendation

Venezuela eh? I was there in February of '05 for a church mission trip. Very hot even then.
We were in a little town named El Manteco (I think). It was pretty cool, I'd like to go back (or to some other South American country, just somewhere.)
Sorry, no help for the SLI problem from myself, but I think Apoptosis has had two 7950GTXs on that board in SLI, so it's possible.

Hello teiwazk welcome from 1 new guy to another.
I am pretty sure the 975X chipset is for Crossfire(Dual ATI cards)

it will run a single GeForce 7950 or two ATI Crossfire cards with no problems.

See, told ya I didn't know nothin' about SLI. Or Crossfire. Or dual anything, for that matter...
I'm the extreme budget gamer. A PII 400 and a Geforce 4 MX440 got me through the first Dungeon Siege, Halo, and a bit of Morrowind. Ouch...

Thanks

or it will run any combination of ATI crossfire graphics cards...

None of the Intel based motherboards run SLI right now...
