First off, Frosty22 made me do it
Long time cruncher, started with FAH and have migrated most of my 46 unit farm to BOINC projects. [My VAULT team link in my profile]I still fold, just not like I did. I am a DC Gypsy, and one will see my name in a lot of places.
Farm is all AMD, with 24-939's, 3 XP mobiles, a 1700, a 2400 and the rest are 754's.
Toolmaker by trade. Military electronics background so it was easy for me to get hooked after working on my first Emachine
Almost 60, looking for retirement.

welcome, and wow that's a lot of crunching power I think I have only 13.4ghz and some of those aren't as good seeing as 1 is a p4 northwood and another is an xp. Glad to see you are putting all of those computers to good use. Also you seem to help the age demographic lol.

I was East coast, started as an AQ but they merged the rates (AT, AX, AQ) all into AT in the end.
Started in IWT on the A-7 ("E" birds) then moved to Hornets on initial fleet deployment, Nimitz, Carl Vinson, and Coral Sea, tailhook all the way... no shore duty for the "Fire Control Radar types

" finished up in Key West doing, oddly enough, Jammers, ECM, and Missile Simulators....
The "spouse" is still active duty which makes my old, fat male butt a "Navy Wife" I guess... for Xmas last year she bought me one of those "Navy Wife, Toughest Job In The Navy" coffee mugs, Jeesh I taught her well!
Once again, welcome aboard
