I been working on computers and networks now for a living for 17 years though I used to dink around with Atari and Apple computers before that.

I'm good with systems and trouble shooting all kinds of problems. The only computer that I never got to play with was a TI/99 I might just have to get one off of e-bay just so I can say I did someday. I have had the Sinclair and Commodore Pets.

OH well anyways just a little history there.

Pretty cool! I think the oldest one I used were the Apple PCs we used in elementary school with the huge floppy disks... they were so weird to me then! glad to have you around, you'll most likely end up reading a "HELP ME!!!" post with my name on it in the near future

welcome!

Geez, I thought I was old with a Vic20 and a tape drive... Does an HP 1000 series, Data General MV9000, or a DEC PDP-11/20 count? :)

And welcome aboard!!!

Haha, tape drives...my mom works for a company that creates backups on 200 gig tape drives and makes the employees take those drives home in case of a fire at the office. Ive always been curious how long it would take to back up 200 gigs of data on a tape drive.

LOL tape drives... I remember how fast the Coleco Adam's tape drive was compared to the Atari and thought it was so fast that it would be at least a few years before anything would touch it.

OH those were the days.
