So I have this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130062 and I want to get this MOBO
http://clubit.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A4830739# it has PCI X 2.0 so would I get better performance if I were to add this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102729 or is the 7600GT still good enought to play current FPS games?
I will be adding to the mix 4 GB of Ram and a X2 6400 CPU.

Name the games you are thinking of using the card for, and would you mind playing them on mid to low settings?

On one hand you'll get hybrid crossfire and more video ram with the 3450. the 7600 should still be a better gaming card, except with the dx9 limitations. the card isn't expensive and might be worth it. I agree with Dan though, we really need to know the use of the machine overall to recommend one or the other.

I like Medal of Honor, Never Winter nights, and I plan on checking out Farcry 2 and Mass effect (if it comes out for PC). Does the hybrid cross fire work with other cards as well or only the 3400 series? I could just use the 7600 for a bit then buy this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102719 by the time I am ready to do all this the video card ( liked above) would be less expensive.

How about this card to get the DX10 capability...http://www.newegg.com/product/product.a ... 6814102726 I am trying to get the longest lasting update I can all at once since talking the wife into another one this year might be difficult. Would the MOBO linked to above along with this card be better than the 7600GT I have now?? I plan on playing Call of Duty 4 and some other titles liked STALKER and perhaps Far Cry 2
