Best ATI gpu anyone?

Hey, first of all, cheers for all the advice on the other thread. I finally got a refund.

Just wondering, what would be the best card for my PC?

It has to have just power from the pcie x16 lane as my psu sucks


The best i found was the sapphire 3650 512mb ddr2..

is there any better ones?

( hl2,cs:s,simcity4 delux,hl2 ep1 and 2,and tiberium wars i need the best experience on )

i heard the x1950 or what ever was quite good.

I know that i can higher than a 3650 because they all need external power from the psu /6-pin.

it also must be a 1 slot gpu, i have no spare pci slots

Best ATI graphics card for gaming performance from top to bottom... The Radeon HD 3870 X2 is placed third, but some will argue my position on that I am sure. A radeon HD 4850 has a PCIe connector, takes up one slot and uses the latest and greatest technology by ATI, so I vote for that one.

Does it have to be an ATI card?

The nvidia 9500GT is currently probably the best performing low power (i.e. without a connector) card out there.
(just make sure the one you get doesn't have the PCIe power connector on it as some do)

Else if you are set on ATI, the 3650 is the way to go if you really can't use a PCIe power connector.
