HD 3870: ~$268 http://www.buy.com/prod/HD-3870-PCIE-51 ... 74156.html
HD 3850 256MB: ~$218 http://www.buy.com/prod/HD_3850_PCIE_25 ... 74155.html
These prices seem a bit too high though... The HD 3850 should be around $180 at most and the HD 3870 should be about $220...

Re: ATI Radeon HD 3870 and Radeon 3850 Video Card Pricing Leak
Read this morning that AMD/ATi dropped the prices again to be well below that of the MSRP or the 8800GT's, now what the retail market does with them is another story...............

http://www.digitimes.com/mobos/a20071112PD204.htmlWith Nvidia launching its GeForce 8800GT (G92) early on October 29, AMD has dropped its ATI Radeon HD 3800 series (RV670) price from US$199-259 to US$179-239 in preparation for its launch later this month, according to sources at graphics card makers.
The ATI Radeon HD 3800 will be available in two versions, the 3870 (RV670 XT) and 3850 (RV670 PRO), noted the sources, adding that the chips also support CrossFire X technology when combined with the upcoming 790FX chipset platform allowing to up to four graphics cards to work together.
In an update to a previous report, the Radeon HD 3850 supports 256/512MB GDDR3 memory with a core frequency of 750MHz and memory frequency of 1.8GHz, while the Radeon HD 3870 adopts 512MB GDDR4 with a core frequency of 825MHz and memory frequency of 2.4GHz.

$175 for the 3850 and $220 for the 3870 is where they should be.... Let's see if that happens.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 3870 and Radeon 3850 Video Card Pricing Leak
If the price is what they say it will be and performance is sort of close to that of the GT, I may opt for the ATi card. Besides, right now if you can even find a Gt in stock, they are priced at a minimum of 20 over MSRP right now everywhere. OC head room on water cooling is another thing I'm looking at seeing as both cards have sort of crap coolers on them.
